Emergency Vehicle Operators Course
All of our full-time, part-time, and EMRs are required to take the EVOC class upon joining us at NCAD. The course consists of two parts: A four hour classroom session of an evening then the next morning driving an ambulance and/or a rescue truck thru a timed course that challenges most the skills needs for safe vehicle operations during emergency responses. Those who take the EVOC course are required to re-take the driving portion at least once every five years thereafter.
